BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Cheng Xiaoxing's primary research interests include ferroelectric phase-field simulations, parallel numerical calculation software development, and the design and implementation of the CAX open-source software development platform. After completing his undergraduate degree at Shanghai Jiaotong University, Dr. Cheng pursued research in ferroelectric phase-field simulation methods under the guidance of Professor Long-Qing Chen. He earned his Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Pennsylvania State University in 2020. After graduation, he joined MuPRO LLC, where he was responsible for the development and commercialization of phase-field simulation software. During this period, he independently developed the MuPRO desktop software series and updated and refined the MuPRO server platform series. He has sold dozens of sets in China, Europe, and the United States. He has published over 30 academic papers in top international journals such as Nature Nanotechnology (IF=40.52), Physical Review Letters (IF=9.19), Advanced Materials (IF=32.09), Advanced Functional Materials (IF=19.92), Nature Communications (IF=17.69), Nano Letters (IF=12.26), and Physical Review B (IF=3.91). As of July 2023, his work has been cited over 1000 times.
