BIOGRAPHY
Chubin Ou is an Associate Researcher at the Shenzhen Research Institute of Big Data (SRIBD). He received his bachelor's and Ph.D. degrees from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He specializes in medical imaging AI, retinal vascular imaging, and intelligent analysis of eye–heart–brain vascular health, as well as the industrialization of medical devices. He led the development of domestically produced medical devices that have obtained six NMPA Class II registration certificates and one EU CE certificate, and the products are sold in China and overseas. As principal investigator, he has secured over CNY 5 million in funding from projects including those of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and Guangdong provincial science and technology programs. His work has been published in IEEE Transactions on Medical Imaging, Medical Image Analysis, NeurIPS, CVPR, MICCAI, and other journals and conferences. He has received the First Prize of the Guangdong Medical Science and Technology Award and the Second Prize of the Innovation Technology Award of the China Simulation Federation, and won first place in two MICCAI international challenges.
