Laboratory for Social Behavior Big Data

Laboratory for Social Behavior Big Data was established in May 2020 to apply all kinds of large-scale data in individual decision-making behavior to the social and behavioral science research, especially in law, economics, finance, and learning behavior. The lab takes advantage of the institute’s strong technical background in the fields of computing, optimization, and artificial intelligence, and the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen’s analytical strength in the behavioral sciences including economics, finance, and management. Committed to the development and application of behavioral big data, the lab scientists organically combine causal inference and machine learning methods to solve the major academic and practical problems and assist in data-driven decision-making.
