Optimization Solver Development Laboratory was established in the context of digital economy. We optimize mathematical models to assist decision-making across goods manufacturing, movement and consumption. Optimization software has brought tremendous success in various sectors such as finance, energy, manufacturing, aerospace, telecommunication, transportation, and healthcare. To date, China is undoubtedly lagging behind United States and Europe in solver development, which necessitates our urgent efforts towards building our own optimization software with intellectual property rights as well as superior computational performance.  The OSDL utilizes advanced techniques form several domains including operations research, computer science, and software engineering, and is committed to developing high-performance, general-purpose optimization software.
